Heritage Park ~ Spacious Homes in Virginia Beach
This all-brick community near Kellam High school features plenty of open space with 7 lakes and beautifully designed, all-brick homes. Close to Sandbridge Beach, Heritage Park is also convenient to dining, shopping and recreation. All the homes were carefully planned to back up to green space, lakes or pedestrian trails. An Equi-Kids equestrian facility adjoins the community with riding trails on the perimeter. The Heritage Park community was successfully completed with just over 250 residences designed by 10 of the areas’ premier new home builders including Caruana Homes.
Heritage Park is home to more than the families who live here. It’s also the address for Equi-Kids Therapeutic Riding Program. In 2007, Jim Arnhold learned of the organization’s work, which offers the special needs community the opportunity to engage in horse-related activities. Arnhold and his business associates in the development project presented the organization with 92 acres of land and $400,000 of seed money. Since then, Equi-Kids has provided a diverse group of challenged riders with a feeling of freedom and independence while making a positive difference in their lives.
